Where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, discover a unique PONANT itinerary and immerse yourself in the Spanish, Arab and Portuguese cultures.

In Lisbon, you will board the new luxury expedition ship Le Champlain for an 8-day cruise.

Cadiz in Andalusia will be your first port of call. Built on a rock and surrounded by the sea, it is one of the country’s oldest cities.

You will sail to Morocco’s Casablanca, the so-called “white city”, where tradition and modernity mingle under a clear blue sky. You will be impressed by the Hassan II Mosque, considered to be one of the largest religious buildings in the world.

For a change of atmosphere, you will visit Portugal and its islands. In Porto Santo, you will become acquainted with this minuscule island lost in the middle of the ocean, lined with a stunning white-sand beach, a few windmills and some traditional houses. This surprising island will provide a complete change of scenery.

On Madeira, you will discover Funchal, the charming capital built on the island’s south coast. You will be able to admire its architecture, churches and old fortress.

The last stop on your cruise will be in the Canary Islands, where you will discover Arrecife in Lanzarote, also called ‘island of fire’. Its quasi-lunar landscapes are sure to surprise you.
