A refined cuisine
Delight your palate with a refined cuisine, developed in collaboration with Ducasse Conseil. On the menu you will find generous breakfasts, a la carte dishes and diverse buffets, home-made pastries, bread prepared on board, along with a range of gourmet afternoon teas and luxury products. Our offer is evolving on Le Commandant Charcot thanks to the Nuna, Alain Ducasse’s only gastronomic restaurant at sea, with a menu created by the Michelin-starred chef.
A modern fleet
As one of the few cruise companies to sail under the French flag, one of the safest in the world, we adhere to strict specifications regarding the training of our crews and compliance with health and safety protocols, and regular checks on our vessels. Our modestly sized ships have just 4 to 165 staterooms and are equipped with the most advanced technologies.

Working towards more responsible tourism
By way of our Foundation and our PONANT Blue Horizon and PONANT Science programmes, we are striving to reduce our environmental footprint on terrestrial and marine environments (hybrid propulsion, recycling and waste and water treatment, elimination of single-use plastics, etc.). With laboratories available to science teams on board Le Commandant Charcot, we contribute to international scientific research.
Conscious travels
In the Arctic and the Antarctic, we are members of IAATO and AECO: associations that bring together different stakeholders in the polar regions to promote more responsible tourism. We have also made commitments at an international level and are proud to be part of the UN programme to ban single-use plastics. We have earned numerous accreditations as a result of our actions, and our entire fleet has been awarded Cleanship certification by Bureau Veritas.
