The Port of Antilla nestles in the heart of Nipe Bay, on the south-east coast of Cuba. At the bay entrance lies the small island of Cayo Saetía, once an African hunting reserve and now a protected nature reserve. Its fine-sand inlets are ideal for a spot of relaxation on the beach or for snorkelling to explore the underwater world. From Antilla, it is also possible to visit Holguín, a few dozen kilometres away. This modern city, rightly dubbed “the city of parks”, offers visitors a multitude of shady spots. These are wonderful for relaxing before setting off to admire the typically Cuban-style buildings or to visit one of the city’s museums.
