Cruises visiting Haikou (China)

Off the Chinese coast, crossed by the Nandu River, Haikou is the capital of the island province of Hainan. A coastal and port city, it is continuously developing through ambitious building projects, but it has managed to keep its charm intact with its old districts and large fine sandy beaches with clear waters. The Temple of the Five Lords (Wugong Ci) pays tribute to five Tang mandarins who were exiled to the island when they criticised the government. Some kilometres south west of Haikou, the national Haikou Crater Park, declared a Global Geopark by UNESCO, will surprise you with the beauty of its sleeping volcanos.
