Adrien Meyer is a leading figure in the art market, serving as Christie’s Global Head of Private Sales, Co-Chairman of Impressionist and Modern Art, and Chief Auctioneer. Known for his strategic insight and trusted client relationships, Adrien has secured some of the most important consignments in recent years, including Manet’s Le Printemps ($65M), Max Beckmann’s Bird’s Hell (£37M), and the $331M Edward Cox Collection.
Since taking on leadership of Private Sales in 2019, he has driven unprecedented growth, positioning the division as a core pillar of Christie’s business and one of its top-performing areas. He also pioneered Christie’s expansion in Asia with groundbreaking exhibitions and the first Impressionist auction in Hong Kong.
Fluent in four languages and a graduate of the École du Louvre, Adrien brings a global, collaborative approach, working closely with over 500 Christie’s specialists to serve top collectors worldwide. He is licensed to conduct auctions in Paris, in addition to London, New York, and Hong Kong.
