Anna Goryachova

Anna Goryachova studied at the Conservatorium of her hometown St. Petersburg with Galina Kiselyova as well as in Rome with Renata Scotto and Romualdo Savastano. She started her career with appearances at the St. Petersburg Chamber Opera. Anna made her European debut in 2011 in Antwerp, where she successfully performed the role of Melibea in Rossini’s Il Viaggio à Reims.

In 2012-2017, she is a soloist of the Zurich Opera, where she was heard in Strauss’ Salome, Rossini’s La Scala di Seta and Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Händel’s Rinaldo, Vivaldi’s La Verità in Cimento, Haydn’s Orlando Paladino, Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Etvös’ Drei Schwestern, and also appeared as Yen-Er in the world creation of Christian Jost Rote Laterne conducted by Alain Altinoglu.

Anna Goryachova has been acclaimed at the finest opera houses in Europe, including Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, Opéra National in Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, Royal Opera in Copenhagen as well as Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Arena di Verona, and Bregenzer Festspiele.

She performs with world famous conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Antonio Pappano, Alberto Zedda, Mariss Jansons, Enrique Mazzola, Alain Altinoglu, Sebastian Weigle, Fabio Luisi, Michele Mariotti, Daniele Rustioni, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Michele Mariotti, Nello Santi, Ottavio Dantone, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Dmitri Jurowski.
