Laureline Formanek is a biologist specializing in Behavioral Ecology and Marine Biology. After nine years of study in France and Canada, she earned, in 2029, a PhD in Animal Behavior. She then spent two years conducting research (Chronobiology, Social Behavior) and teaching (Ethology and Neuroscience) at the University of Rennes in France.­ In 2011, she moved to Australia and began working as a naturalist guide, blending her scientific expertise with her passion for wildlife observation. Since then, she has traveled to all seven continents, from Antarctica to Polynesia, sharing her knowledge with travelers from around the world. In 2015, Laureline joined Ponant, where she continues to explore both polar and tropical regions while sharing her passion for animals and ecosystems. Through her lectures and presentations, she inspires and educates audiences about the beauty and fragility of the natural world, offering a unique perspective that combines science, exploration and environmental protection.
