Sophie Tuchscherer

With restless feet and a head full of dreams, fascinated by cold countries and the far north, Sophie discovered the joy of travel early on, a passion that quickly grew. After studying illustration and graphic design, she had the opportunity to receive a scholarship to study in Norway, a country that soon became her favorite and where she settled for several years after studying art and earning her diploma as a tour guide. She then accumulated both professional and human experiences around the globe: from Argentina to Iceland, via the Galápagos and Lapland, enriching herself through each journey. After specializing as a naturalist and polar guide in the Arctic, she sailed on several ships in these extreme latitudes and shared her experience through numerous excursions and lectures, conveying her passion and fascination for the history, culture, and magic of these northern regions.

Teaching, informing, and raising awareness are all ways she shares her profession while helping audiences understand the fragility and importance of these sublime and wild environments.
