Venice

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local English-speaking representative. You will be taken by coach to the airport in time for check-in for the PONANT selected flight.

In the event of schedule changes of PONANT’s selected flight, your programme will be adapted to ensure the most seamless and enriching experience. The content of your revised programme will be updated on the PONANT website, in My Ponant space and on the PONANT app. The final programme will also be sent to you along with your cruise documents.

Day 1 - Venice, Italy

Upon disembarkation at San Basilio Port, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred by private water taxi to St. Mark’s Square, the historic heart of Venice.Accompanied by your local guide, enjoy a walking tour of the city’s highlights. Begin with the majestic St. Mark’s Square, lined with iconic cafés and dominated by the Clock Tower, the Campanile, and the Procuratie. Continue with a guided visit of the splendid Doge’s Palace, a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture, followed by entry into the famous St. Mark’s Basilica, a Byzantine jewel renowned for its golden mosaics.

Lunch will be served in a typical Venetian trattoria.

Afternoon and dinner at leisure.

Day 2 - Venice

After breakfast, dive into Venice’s artisanal traditions.

Your guide will take you to one of the city’s oldest mask-making workshops, where you will learn about the history of the Venice Carnival and traditional papier-mâché techniques used to craft, decorate and personalize the masks.

Your immersion continues with a gondola ride along the city’s lesser-known canals, passing under charming bridges and alongside historical façades.

Lunch, afternoon, and dinner at leisure.

Day 3 - Venice | Departure

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred from your hotel to Venice Marco Polo International Airport according to your flight schedule (transfer included for guests who booked their flights with Ponant or provided their flight details in advance to their travel advisor).

Located in the Castello district, just steps from St. Mark’s Square, this elegant boutique hotel combines Venetian charm with modern comfort. Its refined décor and central location make it the perfect base to explore Venice.

This program includes:

·        2 nights at Palazzo San Lorenzo 4* (or similar 4-star hotel)

·        Transfers and luggage handling as per itinerary

·        Assistance from a Ponant representative

·        Breakfast on Days 2 and 3

·        Guided tours of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace

·        Visit to a traditional mask workshop and gondola ride

·        Lunch on Day 1 in a local restaurant

Dubrovnik
After the arrival of your flight selected by PONANT, you will head towards the historic center of Dubrovnik, where your guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of the Pearl of the Adriatic. During this walking tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the Rector’s Palace, one of the city’s most iconic monuments.

Lunch is at leisure.
You will then be able to enjoy the early afternoon at your own pace before heading to the Dubrovnik embarkation port.

In the event of a schedule change for the flight selected by PONANT, your program will be adjusted in order to continue providing you with the most enjoyable experience. If applicable, you will be able to access the updated version of your program on the PONANT website, in your My Ponant account, and on the PONANT app. The finalized program will also be communicated to you in your travel documents.

Day 1 – Dubrovnik

Transfer of approximately 30 minutes from Dubrovnik airport to the hotel according to your selected flight with PONANT or any other chosen return flight, provided that the details have been communicated beforehand to your travel advisor.

Check-in to your room at 03:00 pm

The rest of the day, lunch, and dinner will be at leisure.

In the evening, you will be escorted to a local restaurant to enjoy dinner in the heart of the Pearl of the Adriatic. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 2 – Dubrovnik

Last check out at 10:00 am

Option 1: (available at an extra charge) You will leave your hotel with your guide for a walking tour of Dubrovnik’s historic center and gain special access to the Dominican Monastery. You will then take the cable car up to the heights overlooking the city before returning down to a local restaurant for lunch.

Option 2: (available at an extra charge) You will leave your hotel with your guide for a transfer to Župa Dubrovacka, where a more unusual experience awaits. Discover the surroundings of the city from higher ground and off the beaten paths on a quad bike. This guided adventure will show you a different side of Croatia. You will then head to Konavle to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.

You will then be escorted to the pier following your optional excursion or from the hôtel before boarding.

·        If you have booked your flights independently, in order to reserve your transfer from the airport to the hotel, it is essential that your departure flight details be communicated to your travel advisor no later than 30 days before the start date of your cruise.
