Day 1: Barcelona

Upon arrival at Barcelona airport, you will be greeted by your French-speaking guide and transferred to the Sofitel Barcelona Skipper 5*, an elegant property ideally located near the Olympic Port and the city’s beaches.
Check-in at your hotel and free time to relax, enjoy the hotel’s facilities, or begin exploring the city at your own pace.
Dinner at leisure.
Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 2: Excursion to Montserrat

After breakfast, meet your French-speaking guide in the hotel lobby for departure to Montserrat. You will travel by coach to Monistrol de Montserrat, followed by a rack railway ride up to the famous mountaintop monastery.
Your guided tour includes the museum, the basilica, and a tasting of local liqueur. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the area at your leisure.
Return to Barcelona in the late afternoon and free time at the hotel.
Dinner at leisure.
Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 3: Discovering Barcelona and transfer to the port

After breakfast and hotel check-out, meet your guide for visits to two iconic modernist landmarks: the Hospital de Sant Pau and the Sagrada Familia. You will also enjoy free time to soak in the lively atmosphere of the neighborhood.
A panoramic tour of the city will round off your morning of discovery.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, followed by transfer to the port for embarkation on your PONANT ship.

After completing the disembarkation formalities, you will be greeted on the quay by our local representative.
To start your day, you will be taken to Sant Pau Hospital, a hidden gem often overshadowed by its more famous neighbors and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This former hospital, a masterpiece of Art Nouveau, will captivate you with its interconnected pavilions, ceramic wall decorations, stained glass, and original ironwork. Discover the history of this innovative complex, reflecting both artistic vision and social progress.

You will then enjoy a panoramic tour before lunch at a local restaurant.
Some free time is planned before your transfer to ME Barcelona 5* hotel.
The remainder of the afternoon and dinner are at leisure.

Day 2: Barcelona – Transfer to the airport

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

Travel with peace of mind as PONANT organises your day of disembarkation

Barcelona

Disembarkation. Meet and greet your local representative. 

You will depart the port by coach to Montjuic Hill to pass by some of the most known Barcelona cultural attractions: Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), the German Pavillion by Mies van der Rohe, 1992 Olympic Ring and Fundació Joan Miró. You will pass along Passeig de Gràcia, one of the main avenues in the city, admire the houses found at the 'Block of Discord' with the presence of the major Modernist architects. Then pass by Casa Milá commonly known as 'La Pedrera', constructed between 1906 and 1912 by Antoni Gaudí.

The panoramic drive will end at the airport, in time for check-in of the PONANT selected flight.
