Laurence Rogations
Laurence Rogations is 50 years old. From a very young age, she developed a passion for the history and heritage of her native region, Normandy, as well as for travel and foreign languages. In Caen, at the Nordic Studies Department of the university, she brought these interests together by studying Norwegian and Old Icelandic. After several professional experiences related to international work, she eventually returned to her first love, Scandinavia, by pursuing a PhD in this field at Paris-Sorbonne. After defending her dissertation in 2017, she became a consultant for exhibitions and a lecturer, and she regularly travels to Northern Europe. Through her lectures on the Vikings and Nordic culture, she shares her passion for these countries with her audiences.
