Boston
After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local English-speaking representative.
Board your coach for a 15 minutes drive to reach Boston city centre.
The city of Boston, capital of the State of Massachusetts, became the birthplace of modern America by chance. In 1620, the Mayflower left England for the New World with 102 settlers, now known as the Pilgrim Fathers, on board, seeking a place where they could freely practice their religion. Following a navigational error of almost 800 km, they landed in Plymouth, not far from the current city of Boston. Ten years later, in 1630, Boston was founded and quickly became the intellectual capital of New England, which was also greatly influenced by the religious values of the Puritans. It naturally became a place of strong rebellion against the Crown and then an emblematic site of the War of Independence at the end of the 18th century.
You will set off to discover historic and iconic sites on the very famous Freedom Trail, accompanied by your French-speaking guide. This walking trail crosses the city for 4.5 km (2.8 miles) and you will discover around 15 historical buildings and memorials that have marked the history of Boston.

The USS Cassin Young is a destroyer named for Captain Cassin Young, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism at the attack of Pearl Harbor.
